New Orleans Community, Hip Hop Artists, and Activists To Commemorate The 10-Year Anniversary Of Hurricane Katrina with Biggest Second Line Ever New Orleans, La ­ August 20, 2015 ­ To remember the lives lost, honor the resiliency of the community, and advocate for the people most devastated by Hurricane Katrina, the New Orleans Katrina Commemoration Foundation, Hip Hop Caucus, Nuthin.

Famous artists continue to help New Orleans residents to rebuild after the Katrina disaster. Many which hail from the south and have immediate family directly affected by the hurricane.

There are many ways to help with relief efforts. This can range from providing daily needs to furnishing homes with mattresses, sheets and the best bed in a box as well. Some choose to contribute proceeds from concerts directly to families and organizations.

Whichever way they choose to contribute, I’m sure the residents are happy for their effort.
