Why:  In celebration of the tenth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, the Greater Mid City Business Association will be honoring:

The Krewe of Endymion, Mandina’s Restaurant, Finn McCool’s Irish Pub, Angelo Brocato’s, The Pel Hughes Companies, Jesuit High School, Mark’s Mid-City Service Station, Venezia’s Restaurant, Mid-City Lanes Rock n Bowl, Katie’s Restaurant, NOPD 1st District and NOFD 5th District

Each of these honorees represent the uniqueness of the New Orleans neighborhood businesses and will be honored for their resiliency, dedication and belief in Mid-City and the City of New Orleans. These honorees were determined to return to their businesses despite very challenging times. Their never-say-die spirit will be celebrated. Each honoree will be presented with a commemorative certificate in honor of their perseverance during a short program starting at 6:00 p.m. followed by a celebration. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
