WHAT:  Katrina 10 Remembrance: A Celebration of Families and Neighborhoods
WHEN:   Saturday, August 22, 2015 11 am – 6 pm
WHERE: Joe Brown Park /Victory Track
               5601 Read Blvd, New Orleans LA  70127 (second entrance)
WHO: East New Orleans Neighborhood Advisory Commission (ENONAC) is a state legislated Commission comprised of nearly 40 subdivisions of homeowner presidents and residents to protect, promote and preserve a good quality of life for our East New Orleans community.
WHY:  ENONAC wants to recognize the resilience and perseverance of our neighborhoods and families after one of the most devastating hurricanes of the century. We are hosting this event to celebrate our commitment and allegiance to our East New Orleans community, 10 years after Hurricane Katrina.
ENONAC Subdivision Commissioners are the hosts of this event. Special guests are United States Attorney Kenneth A. Polite Jr. and Police Superintendent, Michael Harrison. There will be free live entertainment to enjoy including Michael “Soulman”Baptiste, Kevin Stylez, Sharon Martin, Big Chief Alfred Doucette, The Mystics, DJ Byrd and more surprises. Bring your lawn chairs to enjoy the show. There will also be free health screening available.
Free just for kids, will be an assortment of games, activities, arts and crafts, food and sweet treats! **All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Vendors with “Naturally Nawlins” food will be available for purchase. We look forward to seeing you and your families join us to celebrate the East New Orleans Community
